My Iridopelma hirsutum, Sasquatch, has given me a worrying couple of days since it moulted 2 days ago. It began when when I tried to remove the old exo to give it more room to stretch out and found it was still attached somewhere but because of the position Sasquatch was in in I couldn't see where. I left it until next day and tried again, this time Sasquatch pulled away from it and freed itself. All day yesterday Sasquatch didn't move but sat curled up and I was beginning to think it was dead or dying. I even worried about missing limbs. This morning, thankfully, I found it stretched out, no limbs missing and moving.

My OBT and Blue-Fang both molted today. I received both of these together on the same day when I ordered them over 6 months ago.

My OBT, Zera, has surprised me by appearing out of her cave every day for the last week, very unusual as I normally only see her once every few months. Last night I found her in the entrance waving legs around, she'd even got one leg through part of her web and it struck me that her legs looked longer.

This afternoon she has had a clear out of her cave and left me this to clear away, this lot came out as one piece. She's moulted and this is all I get, some bits are already used to decorate her home :).

G. Actaeon. I knew it was in premolt, but didn't expect it to go so soon.

Yay! i have molts :) I posted pics in my thread in the pics n videos section but i guess i can post them here also :)

Redrum, my B. vagans molted sometime between 12/23 and 12/27 while i was gone to my parents, so i'm saying it was on the 23rd as a birthday gift for my dad :)

Molt is just shy of 1/4" now i'm guessing he's about 5/8". His coloring changed to light brown underside and almost jet black on top.

Kind of hard to see in this pic but it's the best he would let me take :)

Koby, the B. boehmei is molting right now. Here's a pic from a couple hours ago.

Last but not least is the freshly molted C. cyanopubescens Marley. 8 days post molt, colors are beautiful. He was right at 2" inches pre molt. I'm guessing 2.5 to 3" inches now.

The B. boehmei Koby molted last night. I was too tired by the time it was over to post pics so here they are a day late :) he still hasn't come out of his burrow so i can get a post molt pic but it looks like his legs are starting to get color :). Molt is about an inch dls so i'm guessing he'll be close to 1.5" in a week.

got a good molt too :) no missing legs and it looks almost like a female, but still to small to tell. So hopefully the next molt is just as good.

My LP sling is busy webbing a molting mat at the moment, so should only be a matter of hours.

Once they make that mat they certainly get on with the job. One of mine took 6 hours to make his mat, moult and be back the right way up.

My genic molted sometime between Monday night and tonight. I gave him an adult lateralis Sunday but he wasn't really interested. Checked Monday and the roach was still running around. Tuesday I didn't pay attention just watered them all. Tonight was feeding night. And I noticed no roach and an exo in the burrow with him.

Here he is being skittish a day or so after molt. I bumped the enclosure putting the tupperware container of roaches by it and he didn't like it. Came out of his burrow and flicked some hairs.

Is it typical for some legs to be dark and some light like that after molt?

He had a good molt. My 1.5" monster was more like 2" abdomen was to ruined to sex it yet.

On its back after webbing a nice mat

Out of my 9 Ts, it looks the weirdest when it molts (the others don't look as white/see through)

Done!

It didn't grow that much, despite being a waste disposal machine. I hope that means it's a female.

Tried to untangle the molt, but it's too crunched

Ha Ha, my T. Gigas seems to have randomly molted. I didn't even know she was in premolt, but I just saw some distinctively pale/ see through(ish) legs sticking out and it looks like she's sitting on her molt.
