Thanks Atx. She's the most zen like creature I have ever met.
What did I say about being fussy? Checked some of 'em this morning and found that Rusty doesn't think the floors the best place for her water dish.Ok, ta. She's usually ok with being moved or her tank being changed around, (unlike some who immediately trash whatever you do, Seemanni and Smithi in particular - fussy little gits).
I'm glad too, I've heard it would take a lot of molts for her to get her legs back to 100%, from what I could see this morning it looked like the one was 90% now. It's amazing how they can repair such drastic damage.Glad to here SweetPea has new legs.
my other half was laughing at me this morning when I spotted the molt in the enclosure, I was acting like I was a proud papa with a new baby. " honey come look at this, she's got new legs".... It was funny....Yay! Happy to hear she got some new 'clothes' and some new legs to go along with![]()

I can't wait for her to harden up so I can take her out and get a good look and some new pics of her... in a few days I'll post some pics of her....That is brilliant news. She must be so happy living with you !

She really is lovely all the way around. I was showing her to a young lady (who claims to be scared of spiders) the other day and sweetpea was as friendly as could be, the lady liked her...Really look forward to the new pics, she is a lovely spider.
I think sweetpea is such a great name and it's brilliant that she is doing her bit towards curing arachnophobia .She really is lovely all the way around. My Skeleton had a leg missing when she arrived, looking forward to a recovery as good as your Rose's.I have an update about my rose hair, sweet pea (the one that was abused at the pet store) she molted last night / this morning and when she was done she had new rear legs. The one that was completely gone is a little small but it's a full leg.... I was so shocked..... View attachment 581
I hope it goes well for you. I expect they recover better in captivity because they are well fed and getting the nutrients they need.My Skeleton had a leg missing when she arrived, looking forward to a recovery as good as your Rose's.![]()
