Use of live, clean, floral spanish moss? Do or don't?

not some moss . the sort of moss that grows below forests in a thin layer where its pretty much bone dry . i spray a fine mist over it maybe once a week and it looks really nice

I don't know the name but here's mine that I keep propagating through side shoots... does not give off any kind of aroma.

that's beard lichen, we called it Grandfather's Beard at my uncles place in Oregon, also known as Old Man's Beard. I can see that in a T enclosure, it's pretty cool looking. Makes a great fire starter also
