Hello, I own these two tarantulas one is a female all black with some whitish red coloring and the other is all black but with a red abdomen. I was wondering if someone could help me identify each tarantula.
Male: Fully mature. A question I specifically have is whether the 2 spots and a bald spot on the abdomen of the male are normal for this species? How long do mature males of this species usually live?
Female: Not sure how grown. Very skittish and reacts to any sort of movement or whenever the enclosure is opened. How big does this species usually get?
Both the male and female have very shy, skittish, and sometimes defensive traits is this normal for this species?
