My Mexican redleg sling is still in his little cave...being a selfish spider! I'm so worried he's gonna starve or he crawled into the cave and just died or he dried up! Can ya tell this is my first T? Help calm my nerves?
Even if they are spidderlings they can last that long??It's a waiting game, they can go months without food.
Here's a pic my son took of his G. rosea Buddha. Still trying to teach him the flash is a good thing lol

Yes, that little sling is about 3/4" dls and has been in premolt for 2 months or more until night before last. His actual molting only took about 45 minutes until he was back on his feet.Even if they are spidderlings they can last that long??
Btw cute spooder!
I was wrong. Colt, my L. itabunae molted yesterday. Here she is fresh out of the burrow with just a touch of that translucency in her legs.2 Molts! My Nhandu colorativillosus molted yesterday. Can just see it in his tunnel with him, Buddha is on his back molting right now, and I thing the L. itabunae molted but I can't verify yet.
My camera on my phone is screwed all my pics are coming up unsupported format![]()
