Must be the angle then, lol. Always nice to see a successful molt. I'm still waiting on the A. versi, T. Gigas, A. Geniculata and maybe, just maybe my G. Rosea (sometimes in my lifetime would be nice, lol).

Fingers crossed for my A. Versi. From what I can see through her web funnel, she's on her back :)

That's a definite FEMALE!! Woo hoo!! :D That little half-moon flap sticking up between the top book lungs is the epigastric furrow/spermatheca. If it was male, that flap would be absent. ;) Congrats!

Isn't that the truth?? I've had 6 molts this month, so far, and had 10 for last month. 16 in a month and a half! Tis the season! Good luck with your maybe-female! :D

Yay--female! Gotta love it when you win the T gender lottery! haha

It really is molting season! I just had ANOTHER. I just took this pic of my 1.5" E. campestratus still on it's back next to the exuvia. She's down in her burrow...butt towards the camera. I bet I hit 20 molts for the period of Apr 1 - Jun 1. Crazy!

@Ghost . It wasnt an easy extraction as she was sitting over the top of it lol. For the last month I've been expecting it to flip over got there in the end. She keeps webbing over her water bowl which is annoying so I have to mist the sides.

That's what my P. Met Sling does, too. Last time it actually made a molting hammock in its bowl. Funny creatures, Tarantulas, lol.

My T. Gigas is definitely in premolt. It's made a web tunnel into the substrate and this morning I had to remove the cricket I put in last night. Usually they don't last any more than a couple of minutes with that T.

Of the 30 Ts I owned at the end of March, 18 of them moulted in April.

@Ghost. I think I've wrongly sexed my ggb but unsure. Here's a pic. I can see what looks like a small red dot.?

Before moult it was roughly 2.75 inch now it's roughly 3.25 inch.
