Possible scammer Therma1979

Therma1979 tried "selling" me two MM Harpactira pulchripes. I don't know if he was trying to scam me, but he kept insisting that I use the "send money to friends and family" option on Paypal (which I didn't do, thankfully). I sent him the cash despite that red flag, and after a few days of missing the days he was supposed to ship (and going without messaging for a day at a time), I went ahead and opened a case on Paypal. Thankfully, he returned my money - I don't know if he would have if I had gone through the "friends and family" option. Would stay away from this guy.

It makes sense now. By going friends and family I think you avoid some fees but Inguess there is less protection since its supposed fo be for sending to.... friends and family.

I’ll admit I’ve paid sellers from the forums friends and family before. Glad they didn’t happen to be scams because it sounds like I would have been SOL.

I was wondering if he sent a pay request or if you transferred money to his email account, maybe that makes a difference legally, but still, in order to have a PayPal account he must have provided bank details to them so they must have enough information to identify him imo.

If I were you I would not bother with pay pal or Police if you have any luck tracing and finding "spider _man" best thing to do is send The Boy`s in and eliminate the problem so he can`t do it anymore. Personally I would give him the Saudi Treatment , removal of both hands. Best way to deal with Thieves.
