I have just checked on my Mexican Red Knee this morning.
Lifted the piece of cork that covers her burrow to find that there are now two.
I read that you need to give it a week after molting before you offer food in order for the fangs to harden?

Hi
Everything larger than 3 inch DLS needs 2 weeks to harden before accepting food. With larger tarantulas 7+inch often 3+weeks before accepting food.
Make sure there is full water dish available at all times and wait a little longer to offer food.

I love those things I ordered a sling that’s coming this week. About how often does it molt for you?
Maybe once a year. I brought two & lost one as a tiny sling. This escaped & was spotted in the middle of the kitchen floor. So we are lucky to still have them.

The slings I had moulted twice a year, once in spring and again in the late summer/early autumn.
