Hi, I am looking for large adult moults from Theraphosa species (any of the three species).

Interested to buy or trade for any large moult with carapace and all legs & chelicarae, the position doesn't matter and I'm not too concerned if there's an abdomen or not, will be used for studies and illustration reference. ideally looking for anything with carapace size of 30mm or more.

Thanks for any help!

Are still needing this? I have adult female T. strimi that is in heavy pre molt right now. If it isn’t trashed, you may have it.

That would be amazing, thank you, yes I am still looking for one. s I said it doesn't matter if the abdomen is there or not, so long as the legs, chelicerae and carapace are in decent condition it would be great (position doesn't matter much either as I will rehydrate it later on)

Thanks

Cool I will keep you updated. I will have to find out the rules about shipping something like that from the states. I am sure it wouldn’t be a problem though.

Thanks! sounds good.
Yeah it should be fine, I have traded quite a few dead dried insects and spiders with people in the states before and haven't come across any problems. The only thing is to mark a parcel as 'gift' on the customs label and put something like 'dead, dried insect for scientific study' so that they know it's not commercial and charge customs
Obviously happy to cover postage or can trade you one of my T.stirmi limited edition artwork prints or something if you're interested.

That picture is beautiful. It looks like my girl when she is cleaned up after a molt. Which I hope will be soon because her boyfriend is ready and waiting for her.

Thank you! glad you like the illustration - the post moult colours are so rich and you can really see where they get their common names!
