Hi all so I've got this 4 ft Viv and I'm thinking shelf it out and use it for slings that way I could keep them a bit warmer ECT. my concern is that the Viv is in my kitchen on the back wall which is 12 ft away from cooker .
Any info on this would be good

The Viv is empty of any animals at the minute.

Yeah that's what I'm thinking sling's I'm just concerned about fumes from cooking ??? I've got a extraction fan in kitchen

I have about half a dozen slings in one of my kitchen cupboards. It’s hasn’t been a problem and I’ve had them there for around a year. Cook in there daily for a family.

Just don't burn the food! At my house it is called a "cook & run" the dang hot plate doesn't auto time off and can be so quiet

If you are worried about the heat, I don't think that will be an issue, however, I would be more concerned about cooking sprays, especially teflon. Cleansers, too.

I've got a pair of royal's in my kitchen there fine heat I'm not worried it's fumes I'm more concerned over I just thought rather than getting rid of the Viv I could use it for sling's and unfortunately the kitchen is the only place I can put it ???....
