I use Exoctic Keepers Guide. PC based, not an app, but in encompasses most species and allows you add species not in the database. Great for all exotics, not just tarantulas.

Hello
This is an offline app that has a full list of names, you add your T's details select the genus etc. So its on the go with you the whole time, which is great. I will also check out the PC options for comparison, for me 80% of my time I'm out and about so I have everything literally with me 24/7. You can add as many T's as you want, so give it time we might see more great features added.

Regarding the use of software for keeping track of your spiders.
How many people use programs to track moults, feeding, etc?
And if you do, how many spiders do you have?

Depending on your own preference, times are changing technology is growing more youngsters are entering the trade. Young people make up most of today's technology market, hence social media etc thus such an app would fit in with the modern youngsters since most have cellphones. Even older like me benefit, up to the individual not here to convert but enlighten. An informed choice is better than one in the dark, matter of opinion. Also its your detailed collection with you anywhere, 24/7.

As for the amount of Tarantulas, I have about 35 different ones(not many also not my total tarantula count). That's excluding 1st instars etc, as for the amount, I guess you wanted to ask in case of many would it be worth it ? That's dependant on your own drive and willingness to put effort in, hope that is sufficient.

Definitely each to their own. :)
Would like to just hear for interest sake how many spiders people own that do use these systems.

I did a feeding night last night and managed to get through about a third of my spiders (80 or so), and it took a good 3 hours.
I have tried a few systems, but it just takes too long to note everything down for my liking. I also have a few communals, so hard to note which have eaten/moulted. :)

I know lots of people who do use these systems and they swear by it. Really is up to each individual.

Would love input from some other members regarding the amount of spiders they own when using these systems. :)

I love this app. currently have 23 Ts and this helps ALOT with keeping track of everything.
Had to recently add a few myself that was not on the list but not a big deal.
