Hopefully! My N. chromatus was in pre-molt for 25 days, and earlier today I saw him webbing in his burrow. Low and behold, here he is now on his back. :) Molts are always so exciting.
they are! The LP hasn't eaten in over 2 weeks and has been running away from pinheads the last couple feeding times. And now with the black spot i noticed last night i'm hoping it'll be soon.

We'll need pics of your monster molting ;)

Oh, I wish I could get good pictures of the tiny beast. But with his dark burrow and the fact that my camera only wants to focus on the plastic of the enclosure, this is the best I could get.

Doing the nightly check on the Ts I spotted that Kofi, my Heteroscodra maculata had moulted leaving its old exo hanging.

No sign of it but this shows how much it's grown since it came

Then I discovered that Beni, my Cyriocosmus perezmilesi had moulted too. I'll try to get a better pic tomorrow when hopefully it'll be out of its web

Beni has been here 13 months and moulted 6 times, there are 2 moult missing on this pic but the first and latest moults are there.

My little Stromatopelma calceatum, Peanut, has moulted. I found its old exo chucked in the water bowl. I was a bit surprised because it's only 4 weeks since its last moult.

I thought 4-6 weeks was normal for the small ones?

I usually reckon about 6 weeks. The H. mac has made a web tube and hides away in that so I had no warning. I fed it last night which must have prompted it to push the old exo out.

We mostly have porteri's here. Some selling rosea looked porteri as well. :(

I'm hoping this one really is a rosea but not too worried. Our MM male was a character and it looks like this little one is too, no fear and comes to see what's going on when I open the container.
