I found this tiny monarch butterfly caterpillar on some milkweed in my yard today. I grow it intentionally for monarchs. I used to rear all of them I could find and release them as butterflies. The wasps, ants, and earwigs wipe them out otherwise. Some years I've had 20 or more going and they eat like crazy so it was a lot of work keeping them fed with fresh milkweed leaves every day. This year I'm just going to raise this one.

Nice find how long do they take to get adults, and would be nice to take photo of adult one it matures.
