Sling care

Just recently added a 1.5 inch L. Klugi, and a 0.5 inch B. Albopilosum to my collection.

I have moderate experience keeping adult tarantulas but have never raised babies. The Klugi is a maniac but I have had trouble getting the curly hair to eat. I decided to try prekilled pinheads for it. Left one in its container over night and the cricket is flipped on its back now and abdomen seems to be shrunken. The curly hair has also sealed in its cave now. Can I assume it partially ate the cricket and is safe and full in its cave?

I can see a chunk of cricket inside the curly hair sling's little tunnel. If I remove it I think I'll destroy the tunnel. Is it ok to just leave it in there for the curly to deal with?

Possibly. If you can see the remains, you could just watch it for any signs of fungus, mold or mites. She will easily dig a new one if it comes to that.
