Hai guys.
I have heard that this Sp was like burrowing and arboreal at the same time. Is that correct?
I just got this one yesterday night as a freebie and it was almost 00.00 when I arrived home.
Too tired to rehouse it last night. So I will do it after my work.
I have to prepare the plastic jar and the substrate height too.
Plz help me... Need advice.

I've kept 2 S.calcs and yes they will burrow but they will also web to the top of their containers and create web tunnels. My first, a male that has now passed on, spent more time in the open as he grew but would still bolt for his burrow if disturbed. My current one, still a juvi has done the same but can be seen of occasion darting through the web.
I keep mine in an arboreal container with about 1" dry substrate and a tall piece of cork bark and plastic plant for climbing and webbing to with a water bowl. Its burrow is between the water bowl and the cork bark.

Ah. It means then my substrate is faar too high. Hahha... I already rehouse it just now, before I read this.
Now I dont have any courage to dig up the jar again. Should I just let it be?

I'd leave it but you may find it'll burrow away more. The less substrate they have the less they can burrow but you'll be able to put that right when you rehouse to a larger container.

Isn't very nice? Hahaha...
I can look at it as it make a deeper hole. It's very fortunate that the sling chooses this side to burrow. Right behind the small bottle I put inside the jar.
XD
