Is this legal to sell/buy?
I'm in no way interested in it just curious as it's one of the most venomous spiders out there.

Yes, it's legal and yes, it is "the" most venomous spider in the world. I believe second in line is the Sydney funnel web spider.....don't quote me, though. Just research. :)

You're correct Sydney Funnel Web more venomous.

I would not want to be bitten by either though.

I'm not probably ready to buy it but what is the temperment like?

An OBT?

A pokie?

Would you also have a source for a double cage for safety reasons? (Cage within a cage)

I will buy it long as you just need 150$ and nothing else and if it is actually a Brazilian wondering spider
I hate to tell you this, but you joined the site and posted for the first time today in response to a thread that's six years old. The spider in that picture is long dead by now.

Welcome to the forum, though!

BTW, be wary of folks offering up _Phoneutria_.

(Note that I'm not saying that Kaz is trying to dupe people. I would trust the identification based on Kaz's obvious experience! Which actually makes me worry about Kaz's sanity and health. ;-))

However, we used to get calls in the lab from folks who thought they had a _Phoneutria_ on a regular basis. Never actually saw one. There's another genus that looks nearly identical and they get passed off or mistaken as _Phoneutria_ all the time. Kids in Brazil will sell you one of the harmless varieties for 50 Real while swearing up and down that the very spider they're holding killed 5 people in their neighborhood. Capitalism sometimes has a way of distorting reality.

I just want a Brazilian wondering spider to add to my collection. I cant leave my house tho to go get one cus I have warrants and brazzil isnt just right down the street. I really just want the world's deadliest spider. I didn't see the date on here lol. I know there not allowed in Texas but who care anyways. Long as you don't need any paperwork like my owl falconery owning friends and the spider is real. And to be honest this one looks like a phony but if it is real I would like it. So please someone hook me up with a real one.
