It's always interesting to hear different stories about T's that are supposed to be aggressive that are not and vise versa.

Of my slings it is interesting to see the personalities come out. My B. vagans sling is a pet rock, while my juvie is as skittish as they come, going to her hide as soon as I come near. My N. chromatus sling is the same way. My G. pulchiripes is mellow as can be seeming not to give a crap about me unless I am placing food then she attacks it happily, while the L. parahybana is so tentative she gently taps her dead crickets to make sure they are indeed food and not something going to get her. But my little A. geniculata, oh my word the personality! Strutting around, butt straight up in the air, holding her ground when I am placing or removing food stuffs; she is a little monster already! :)

Funnily enough, the two most agressive Ts I've ever encountered were B.Smithi, and G.Porteri lol. Both seemed to want blood
But really, Defensive is the right term, very few Ts actively try to bite. Biting is the last resort.

How can you say such a thing about the most angelic ts ever lol. My ones are really docile but they might be plotting to kill me and go on holiday with my life insurance when they are bigger :)

My genics are supposed to be agressive but I have not had any problems, I don't think they were feeding them enough as they are very sweet .

Karina is so mellow, she never runs or acts at all defensively...heck she doesn't even hide. She just likes to hang out and do things in her own time, she's not an aggressive eater; I've seen her ignore crickets that are almost on top of her lol.

My Delilah is the same, none of my ts are aggressive but old deli is in a league of her own, I know they normally don't like being handled but she does and money spider seems to as well.
