I need to add more plants/cover and some moss behind the cork bark.

There's around 2" of compacted substrate in there, the bottom layer (about 1/2") being more wet than the top 3/4

Would value any input!

This morning the water dish was turned over and part of a molt in its place. This is an older molt, not 100%, from I believe about 10 days ago - part of which is poking through the substrate.

Think I'm gonna rehouse her into the gallon jug today. I just modded a it bit to prep for her transfer with a new layout and u wrapped the "back" of the jug, behind the cork bark, with black paper to give her some privacy.

P. irminia has made a low curtain hide behind the cork bark.
I fed her a pair of medium crickets this afternoon and one wandered right into her hide, that ended quickly.
If the other one is still there tomorrow after lunch I will fish it out.
Will try to get a pic of her tomorrow.

Cleaned and over flowed the water bowl this morning and fed a pair of medium crickets tonight.

She was out on the front glass and just froze when I opened the lid to drop the crickets in. She made quick work of one and waited for the other to come back around.

I gave up before she did

Haven't seen P irminia out in about 16 days. Seems to be walled-up inside its hide.

I dropped a stunned roach behind the hide and it kicked around quite a bit before coming to it's senses about 20 mins later and found a perch for itself. No reaction from the spider at all.

Checked on it this morning. Can't find the roach, and the dirt curtain appears to have been opened.

Seems encouraging

P irminia discarded it's molt yesterday, left it in the water dish, floating on top, super dry

Rehydrated the exo

It's a boy!

Happy to pair him with my new lady irminia when they are both ready!

That's really interesting..

My P Irminia is about the same size as yours and doesn't make dirt curtains at all. Her enclosure is two pieces of cork leaned against each other with a big leaf/plant on one side of the corks.

I find that smaller more bolty slings/juveniles really enjoy having a great big leaf to use.

I have the same plant in both my cobolt blue green femur slings' enclosures, the standard colbolt blue enclosure, and the hati hati's enclosure.

They all incorporate the big leaf into their hides differently its interesting but I've had no bolts or threat posturing since I put it in.

@BelleAme my female P irminia dug a bit but has not made a dirt curtain hide yet, she had one in her previous enclosure before I rehoused her. All my non-avic arboreal enclosures have big leaves, well so do my Avic enclosures for that matter, but the leaning cork bark for non-avics is the ticket

Saw Mr Irminia making an appearance in early morning light so it must be feeding time!
