Not Eating

I have a rosie who's about 5 years old. It's not eaten for long periods of time in the past but normally that's a sign of an approaching shed after which in about 2 weeks it is very hungry again. However, this time is a bit different. It shed about 6 months ago and never regained an appetite. Seems to be healthy but runs from the cricket.

Any ideas as to why this might be happening?

Unfortunately, "rosies" are known for frequently and inexplicably fasting for long periods of time (something that frustrates many). In a post on another forum, some keepers were sharing how long their rosies had fasted for, and one guy had a female that didn't eat for well over a year. What you are seeing is fairly typical behavior for this species. Keep fresh water available and try her every week or two to see if she's ready. She'll eat eventually. :)
