And a young female (yes!) Phormictopus sp green just after molt, who is still not green at all!!! Does somebody (@MassExodus) have experience on this one? When does the green color appear?

I have a female at six inches now (they grow fast!) and shes dark green. im hoping she lightens up a little at full size, but so far the green isnt vivid, unless you shine a light on her shes almost black or dark blue/green looking. Still beautiful, but i want her to be bright metallic green :)

Thanks for your reply. I'll wait until next molt to see what happens... Post pictures as soon as you can, I'd be glad to see her!
I've heard they stay rather dark green than metallic green. One more spider which will make my wife say: "She's a scam!"
