I think he is in his old skin because he's still in it does that mean he's still molting do you reckon?! I should not of tried helping if he is really, I thought he would of finished by now because it's been so long! he might be moving to try to get it off I'm not sure but it does look like it, but he's on his side that might be why he is moving his leg? because he can't move very well:/ I don't have a clue really like you guys said the best thing is just to leave him now I don't want to make it any worse.
Yes I was talking about that and oh right so should I keep doing what I was doing not long ago then drop a few droplets every few hours? when I did that he moved his leg a lot I'm not sure if it helps or not? Yeah I'm not going to touch him or anything now even though I reckon he will molt a bit better on his back but I can't risk touching him again so I will go with what you experts are telling me! Will let you guys know each day for a few days to tell you how he is and if I can help him or not.

more pictures will help but i'm afraid messing with him the first time you posted while he was starting the molt has signed his death warrant. If it's been 2 weeks and he's still stuck in the molt i believe he's doomed.

Not to be the doomsbringer but What is stuck, just the legs? if so they're probably deformed. Try and get more pics closer so we can see more details.

OK, it does seem bad. But take a deep breath, now, please try to get as clear a bunch of pictures as your able. From different angles if you can. What part of this baby is still in the old exo?

Sorry guys have been at work and I know it may of been a stupid thing to do but I was trying to help him that's all I didn't want to obviously hurt him, I cannot get very good pictures of him really its hard especially on my phone I will try my hardest! How do you paste photos to here? Can't figure it how I did it now, it looks to me like most of his body is stuck but what I do not understand is how come it looks like he wants to move because he's moving his leg quite a bit towards the substrate it seems do you think he wants to get up? He's still alive after all that time which is a good sign in a way he may recover hopefully! All I can say im for sure he's stuck completely somewhere:/ is there any way he can get himself out of it? If he's got more lively I reckon he may! Yes it has been quite a bit of time he can only move his leg it looks like, what do you think by feeding her it may help or? Oh right hopefully my little fell survives I'm determined to keep him alive as much as I can anyway so what do you lot suggest I try next? It seems like he can't be molting because he's wanting to move so he must be stuck somehow

OK, to upload pictures, click the button next to the "post reply" button at the bottom of where you type your messages.

Tell us how much of the tarantula is stuck. If his whole body came out of the old skin but the legs were stuck, he will probably lose some legs but might survive.

There is stuff you can do to help, depending on the answer to the above question.

That is the best photos I can get really and I think it is his legs im sure anyway not 100% certain, I can't even tell myself really its hard to tell what's stuck:/ he did loose a leg as well do you think that might be a bit of the reason? He moves his leg now and then which is strange do you think I should try turn him in a different direction or not? I think its a bad idea because it could stress him out but he looks like he wants to move! I don't think he molted that much which is weird really he should of

Can't see much in those looks almost like all legs are still in the old exo. I'd be afraid of hurting it worse trying to get it out, and who knows how the legs are. My guess is they're all deformed. I'm with Mass, put it out of its misery and learn from this experience.

Those pics are terrible, lol..im not criticizing you, I've had phones with terrible cameras too. That looks like a tarantula that is not even close to halfway out of its old exo. Put it in the freezer. Even if you feed it cricket paste and drops of water until its next molt, its highly unlikely it will molt successfully, or even survive it. I'm all for the struggle, but needless suffering is needless. Its harsh, but such is life. I could give you a recent example of the same situation for a human, but that's far too grim for this forum.

I know I got a cheap phone to last for a little bit because I broke my phone not long ago it's annoying, I see where you are coming from I was thinking that the other day but I didn't want to kill him because there could of been something I could of done! So you think that's the best bet then? I feel so bad it's ureal but I think its the only choice it looks like:( really hoped he could of survived to be honest my first spider and it's gone already can't even believe it! Will take me a while to get another one I think now not certain tho:/ so should I put him in the freezer then? I hope you are 100% correct on he will not recover as well I know your experts pretty much so i will go with what you say, yeah that's true sometimes it has to happen he doesn't look good at all:/

I agree that the prognosis is not good. You could euthanize, or you could attempt to care for it until the next molt, which it might or might not survive. As MassExodus said, you'd be feeding mushed up crickets and water until it manages another molt. I don't think flipping it upright will do any harm at this point. If it was molting, it will either be all old exo on the outside or already hardened.

I wish I could say more, but it's too hard to see what's going on in pics. Honestly, if things are that messed up it might be hard to tell even in person where the spider begins and the old skin ends.

Best of luck whatever you decide to do.

I want to euthanize him because he looks like he'll be in constant pain and I don't like that sort of stuff but I want to try to care for him as you've now suggested cricket paste do you get it from pet shops? Will go there tomorrow as soon as I can if I decide to keep him and try to get him back to normal which is highely unlikely! Oh right so should I try putting him upright then? To me it looks like he's finished molting he can't be still molting, its fine I got two choice basically I don't know which is right:/ yeah that's true, he looks like he wants to be upright with his leg

You will have to make the cricket paste, just crush a cricket in a small amount of water. If you gently turn him over you may be able to see more clearly what the problem is then you will still have the option to euthanize if necessary.
