Lovely. You know I'm a great fan of them but are you pleased with your new T?

@Enn49 . Evening. Yeah really pleased with it :) look forward to it moulting . Had a bit of a moment getting it in its new enclosure. Touched it with a paint brush and decided it wanted to bolt round the rim lol. Very fast.

Yes, they can be fast when they want to be but mine is very chilled now, I can open the lid and it stays put.

@Enn49. I offered a locust to all my big T's and only that 1 was interested ..
I think my little T.Lagunas is starting to get a blue hue about it ..

I've not tried any of my big ones on locusts yet, I suppose I should.

@Enn49 . My P.Parvulus is the smallest out of my 4 big 1's the others ran off to hide. She jumped on it lol.
Your LP's are bigger than my emilia. I do think LP will be my largest when it moults next.

I reckon mine have grown around 1'' per moult, they were 1'' when they came and 5 moults later they are both around 6''. Next moult they'll be bigger than my sons P. vittata.

Quick question about Locusts, as I keep reading different things: Are they noisy? I have to keep my live food indoors and as we live in a small(ish) bungalow, the rest of the family is not too keen on all nightly choirs, lol.

@Fuzzball79 . I've had my locusts about a week and never heard a peep out of them. My crickets on the other hand don't stop singing

Thanks, @sym I might give them a try to give the big girls.
@Enn49 : Most of the silent crickets that I could find are quite small. I now buy the standard ones and feed any that are developing tail bits, lol.
