Looks like an A. genic under the cork to me.Out of curiosity, what t lives in there? T. Stermi? Maybe a blonie?
HiYes, it is an A. genic
I'm quite a novice, and would be concerned about any of my enclosures sprouting mushrooms.
I will definitely keep a good eye on things and rehouse if i think its out of control.
Cheers for the advice
You may not need to rehouse, I've had those in one of my containers and they haven't come back.
I'd say no.Does having the mushrooms in there qualify the enclosure as bio active?
they are toxic to humans, but not dangerous. they'll give you a stomach ache but are otherwise harmelss to your animals. you can just remove them, they will return though. Are they dangerous? Had a strong smell!
probably the spider substrate, but spores also hitchhike on vermiculite as well.My substrate is a mix of coco coir, pro rep spider substrate and a little vermiculite.
Where do the fungi come from?
