Seriously considering buying myself a leopard gecko. Went to the petshop to look at a few today...and man they are so ooh cute. Does anyone on the forum have some? And can you give any advice?

Thank for the reply! Just wondering.....are they expensive to maintain. And do they need special lights? Because at the moment they have none?

I just use a heat mat on mine. Belly heat is how they digested. About 90 degree hot spot. I have no light on mine. I feed cricket and meal worm. I supplement with calcium and multi vitamin ever 3 days. Also keep a dish of calcium in with them. Then a hide and water bowl i. The cool end. On the hot end I keep a hide made for a tubawear dish, in that hide there are always moist paper towels for when they shed. They cost me tops 5 Usd a week.
