What they meant by humans being wiped out is , if people were correctly educated about invertebrates and the media didn't scaremonger those who are simply unaware of how interesting they are then within a year a large majority of the population would have gotten into the hobby, built up a large collection. Then we would face a mass human extinction as no one could afford to feed their families. Its abit unfair to blame that on spiders thou
