Hi, here are some pictures of the first moult since I got them of my sub adult hobby curly hair and my juvenile b hamorii. Going off Google I can hazard a guess at what they are but would like the opinion off people that know what they are doing. I am brand new to this. Thanks
@Phil this is the b hamorii we got from you a few weeks ago. I have more photos if needed.

No problem at all. What manifests as a flap for some species is more of a funny shaped structure that looks like alien antena for other species.

That's great thank you, so a Male would just be a complete straight line?

I have two more I am awaiting moults from so I can name them all. Looks like Frank will have to became Frankie lol.

That’s correct. I’ll admit I’m good at saying female but I’m always hesitant to say male for sure unless they’re a good size because the structures can be rather obvious, but the lack of those structures makes it hard to commit to saying male.

@Jo14 I am a little unsure on the first pic. Original instinct was Male but @Metalman2004 gave an accurate description to cast doubt so probably 70/30 on side if female now...LOL. One more moult to be certain on that maybe?
2nd pic 100% female. :)

@Phil I thought it was Male going off Google but totally have no idea as this is first time I have ever done it. Weird two of them did it on the same day. I think the gbb off you is ready to as well as she left her dinner and has sealed herself into a cave.
The a geniculata is ferocious though it's a total beast and snatches food from the tongues before you even get it in the door! Can't wait to find out if that is a girl or boy.
Couple more pics of the curly hair.

I am a firm believer of synchronised moulding. We (UK) are heading into spring and I have noticed through all my moult records that this is a particular busy time for moulting so I don't think you will too long to wait :)
