Backyard buddy

Found this little guy sitting in the corner of my backyard. Not certain but seems to be acting odd, he's been sitting in the open like this for a couple days now. Any suggestions on how I can help him if he needs any?

I talked to a local place here and she said maybe he is just getting to the end of his time, or maybe a tarantula hawk got him. Poor guy.
