I've noticed that many people on here have other pets too that they can interact with. I do talk to my Ts though.:)

Haha fair points made by all! I certainly have killed many a moth in my days haha. As a very young child, I was enthralled by our 8 legged friends and collected more than a few in my days. One time I made the mistake of bringing three plump wolf spider egg sacs into my room, storing them in my bedside drawer. To my surprise(sort of), they hatched a few days later and we ended up with a pretty gnarly infestation for many years of the little guys who are impressively fast and evasive.
Again jumping topics, but what size enclosure do you all reccomend for the LP. Because it isn't a full on 'sling', and is rather 1-1.5 inches now and considered 'small', would I benefit from buying something along the lines of this one from Jamies' that I have attached? Or should I go smaller first?

rule of thumb i use is 2-3 times their DLS (diaganol leg span) for the enclosure. gives them space to grow and is still small enough they can find their prey. I do that with the width of the enclosure when upgrading from the square amac boxes like that one in your pic to a KK or something similar. Length is going to be quite a bit more than the 2-3 times DLS, so i use a makeup brush to chase the roaches back near the T if they get away in that case.

At that size I had mine in 3 litre Braplast tubs and they weren't in them for long, they really do grow quickly. Mine were 1" dls when I got them and within 14 months they were both around 6" dls.

LP will hunt if it's hungry. Nothing stands between it and a full belly :p
It's a nice little enclosure and will give you a nice box for when it has to move up. :) then, you have room for another in that size range ^*^

Great to hear they're such happy eaters :)
Thinking I may just name her/him Charlotte how do y'all feel about that :) :)
Pretty common name for a T I'm sure but I do really like it as that book was a childhood favorite

Lol! You unleashed a plague of wolf spiders in your house? That's awesome! I once had a jumping spider that lived in my kitchen. I've tried putting them in my closet, bathroom and new kitchen, but they always leave. They must sense their brothers, imprisoned nearby..
