Anyone broken off a fang?

I thought I would try, for the first time, tong-feeding my A.geniculata. I offered a superworm, and it attacked the tong. May have just been a miss. I've heard that chelicerae can break off that way. Has anyone experience this, did it affect your T's ability to attack food, and did it come back after the next molt? Given the disposition of mine, I haven't checked too closely for damage, but it seems ok.

Yes....I had a LP crack a fang and her next molt cycle she lost it. Theres been alot of people in discussions over many forums that have had Ts with missing or broken fangs. To me it's not worth it anymore. I drop the roaches now and dont let them take them. It's a pain in the butt to blend up crickets to feed your spider with a medicine dropper.
