My new b. Emilia and b. Albo have both started moving their substrate around...right over their vent holes!!!! The first time I noticed it I moved the fiber but the next day there it was again! So I've decided I'm not doing anything until they cover every hole. Also my avic so. peru purple caught her cricket today and the struggle took her right out of the enclosure. She stood there a moment, killing the cricket and realizing "hey, I'm free! Oh wait...it kinda sucks out here. I'm going back" and she went right home without even being coaxed. She's so sweet:p

Have you ever seen those guys who can hold themselves up horizontally on a tree or a street sign? Avic sp. Peru purple just tried that while doing her happy dance after catching a cricket. She had her two front feet on the wall and the other five (she's only got seven legs) were all all in the air. She was almost parallel to the floor but her booty is a little too big so she had to catch herself. Too funny.
