Any advice on how to remove insect remains?

Hi all,

I've always read to remove the remains of insects after the T has feed. However, I cannot do it since the T drag its food inside the hide where he burrowed underneath which is otherwise hard to reach.

So any experience similar or advice is welcome. Thanks much!

I asked the same question here a while ago. everyones said to just leave it be. get what u can get and let the spider be a spider. if it doesnt want it in its hide, itll kick it out. just keep and eye out for mold. :)

That's good to know. I was actually worried about molds and stuff as I just did a substrate replacement due to molds. Don't want to do it again so soon. I was actually shaking as I lifted the 2incher with a wide spoon being my first T and all from enclosure to enclosure. :p

You don't need to do it unless it's getting moldy or something.
