Part of a five T package that arrived this evening, Albus is the first to be rehoused (got one vacancy due to passing of Tara)

Biggest one in the group 1.25inch!

Has begun digging after it has toured around the enclosure.

The others will have to wait till tomorrow though...

Hahaha!
Digging is a constant for this species. Case in point, mine at 6" still moves her substrate and moss about the home. Rarely uses the hide, but will back down into her snug burrow when I do enclosure maintenance. She's such a good girl. [emoji3]

All the slings burrowed except the G. porteri. But the contest has begun between the B. albo and B. vagans. They have stockpiles in their enclosures already.

Been working on the slings this morning. Rehousing each one. And I guess there were hairs on the table, since now, my elbows and forearm are itching like crazy!

Price to pay ol buddy...always worth it. I get a rash sometimes and i think its funny looking at people's faces when i say what it is....amuses me for some reason.

The vagans is another common and underated spider, like albopilosum and rosea and Lps. Biggest of the Brachys, and I think they LOOK evil, but they're not, they're just skittish. Here's my juvie female, who's taken to hiding lately, or half hiding, she's always like this now..
