Oh they die when they fall...then why are they jumping when we caught them...the small ones really jumps out from our hands...and they runs very fast unlike the other tarantulas I see in YouTube they walk like Ms universe.
Yes we did...but there's a problem...kids ages 9 to 12 in our neighborhood saw us making enclosures and handling these spiders got interested and no longer afraid...some of them started to hunt on their own...sooner or later some of them will get biten and I'm afraid their parents will blame us
Well two months ago I thought they are deadly, because our elders said those spiders could kill a water buffalo, and people here kill them on sight due to wrong notion...that belief broke when I saw my friend handling these spiders; got biten and still lives...so I started to research and watch...
We are actually looking for the panay blue and the philippine tangerine..I found out that they are in my place...but I think they are not in coconut husk...I'll post if we caught a blue one when we try in the mountains.. hopefully; thank you very much for the info and advices I got from you guys
I would like ask if they eat each other because we got some of them in the same pile of coconut husk...one thing I know they like to live near termites
I'm new to this hobby just started 1week ago...just found out that these spiders are not deadly to humans and we have lots of them on coconut husk...so we keep a few of them as pets
