I do dig - but only when I have to :D...but as a person who has had mice for pets, and find them incredibly cute, I just cannot use them for T food. I would have a snake for a pet if I didn't have to feed it furry little critters.

Thank you. Picked up some super worms, and have some fruit flies...but trying not to deal with the fruit flies. Really don't want to deal with crickets either. Will just feel a lot better when he/she eats.

Hello, Everyone! My Brachypelma Hamorii sling arrived yesterday. When should I expect to feed him/her? Do they feed them before they ship them? I read to wait a day, or two. So tried to offer a super worm this morning, and shows no interest. Will leave the worm in the container for 24 hours...

I personally could not do that when there are plenty of other sources of food/nutrition. But that is just my personal opinion. So, to answer your question, yes, I think it is cruel. I had a hard enough time feeding my sling a meal worm this morning. But then I love all creatures, big, and small.

Hi, Everyone! So glad I found this forum. I am a new sling mom, and am so nervous about it! Here hoping to learn a lot so my sling will grow up big and strong. I just got a Mexican Red Knee today. Not sure if I have a boy or girl. Any suggestions for a catchy name?
