    New p.metallica

I currently have a bromeliad, two fern clippings, moss covering the back wall (difficult to see) and the plant on the left I am not sure. There are probably better plants that can suit the husbandry needs of a P.metallica more but I didn't want to purchase new plants and thought I would give...

    New p.metallica

Just finished up my juvenile p.metallica enclosure. I have a larger piece of cork bark that I will also be adding to the front side of the enclosure for added climbing room.

3 1/2 pulchra gave me a surprise molt this morning. Any idea on the sex? I am leaning male.

    G.pulchra 2"

Hey, I wetted it down with soapy water and put it under a microscope. Using a pick I was able to move the slit around and a small piece of skin unrolled but it was very small maybe I tore something up. I would take a picture but I accidentally ripped the molt shorty after.

    G.pulchra 2"

First molt was February 12th and he/she molted again on March 16th. Finally threw the molt into the water dish and was able to get some good photos. I am thinking it's a male. Any thoughts?

    Who's molted today

I can't get a great photo because he/she is burrowed in their turtle shell, but my 1.75 g.pulchra is molting again. There has been one month in-between this and her last molt which was on February 11th. This seems very fast especially for a g.pulchra. Has anyone had a experience like this with...

    G.pulchra molt

Hey everyone, I can't make out anything on this molt. I am thinking male but also still too small to tell. This is a 1.5 to 1.75 in pulchra. Tried looking under a microscope but still wasn't really sure if I could make out anything. Attached are bunch of different photos in different lighting to...

    G.pulchra first molt with me

Woke up this morning to see my pulchra molting. First tarantula and first molt. So unsettling to see the first time because I immediately thought she was dead lol.

Possible to ventral sex based off this photo?

Hey guys this is my 1.5 to 2 inch G.pulchra. Just curious if anyone can give me a opinion on if it's male or female based off this photo?

    First feeding

First time feeding, I cut the mealworm I'm half so it wasn't to big for her/him but I think it was still a little bit to big.
