Afternoon everyone, so my local reptile shop is getting a big delivery of T's, so my question is what should I get and what should I keep an eye out for?

I have a G.rosea, an LP and an OBT at the moment but like everyone out there we just want more lol.

Davus pentaloris (formerly Cyclosternum fasciatum). Mine is always on view now it's grown, great feeder, very calm and a heavy webber. I've just posted a picture in media.
Brachypelma albopilosum, everyone needs a curly.
Ami sp Panama. A great dwarf T, they're pretty, not at all shy and again a great feeder.
Dolichothele diamentinensis (formerly Oligoxystre diamentinesis). A very colourful T, again a heavy webber and good feeder.

Nhandu or Lasiodara or Acanthoscurria, you need a giant ;) My 3 (N. coloratovillosus, A. geniculata, and LP) are awesome eaters, the LP gets a little timid with prey larger than his abdomen but the N. color and genic don't care, food is food :D the color pattern on the A. genic is one of my favorites also.

Unlike the LP and N. color my genic didn't burrow and hide much at all as a sling, he was mostly out in the open, usually just burrowing down for premolt. Now that he's a juvie he's always out in the open, the only time he goes into his hide is if i startle him opening the enclosure, but once that initial jolt is over he comes back out to see what i'm doing.

Another must have for all T collections - the GBB.

Then there's the most popular ones, B. smithi, B. boehmei, G. pulchripes and one of my favorites the A. seemanni. A. seemanni is like the B. albo, a bulldozer as a sling, always active digging tunnels and redecorating. He likes to sit just inside the opening to his burrow and pretend he's a trap door spider at feeding time.

I no I'll definitely be getting a B.smithi always wanted one but I'm thinking if there's any they have that would be hard to come by in the UK. I already have a monster of a T well at the moment it's not lol.

Also be looking for a gooty if they have one. And a GBB as well.

The Spider Shop regularly has B.Smithi in stock online, at £25 for the un-sexed juveniles. That's where I got mine from, and it was fantastic service.

I've had good service from them as well when I got my OBT, I couldn't fault their service. But I'm after slings, as I'm having more fun and enjoying my little ones just love watching them grow, even though not seen my Orange baboon for a while now lol.

They do sell the Mexican Red Knee slings too :) I don't know if they have in in stock at the moment, but they definitely sell those too, as I wanted to do the same thing. Really eager to have one from being a tiny dot and watching them grow into a monster :p I think they are really cheap also :D :T: The spider shop do seem like a really good online store, I check the website regularly and they seem to have good stock in of all sorts of T's. Can I ask if you bought your OBT as a sling? Since I bought a juvenile, I'd be interested in hearing how well they did in selling a sling.

Yeah it is a sling it's about an inch at the moment but it's been hidden away since I've had it so no idea if it's molted or in pre molt but that's what you get though ain't it lol. Tormund as I've called it till sexed came in rapped up in paper, within a little vial in a box and newspaper. Good delivery I also got a book from as well, would explain the size of the box lol.

I just checked and they have the red knee slings on for £6.00 :)
I think I would go there again, they are really reliable, and if they send out slings in the same way then it seems they are the best way. When I was looking around, they were the one most people recommended.

Pcam's are awesome! they build these web tunnels and cover them in substrate, like a bivouac tent, then spring out and drag the prey into their Tunnel of Doom :D

Mine is more skittish than aggressive, he darts into his tunnel at the slightest disturbance. hopefully he stays that way ;)
