Aren't these two diff species now in the same genus? How can you tell them apart, I have heard one described as the doppelganger of the other?
Davus pentalore Guatemalan tiger rump
Davus fasciatus Costa Rican tiger rump

The guy selling it says it's a C fasciatum?
Changed it to D. fasciatum if i'm reading the PDF from Plessy correctly back in 2005. I can't tell any difference in the coloring on either the D. fasciatum or the pentaloris from this document, abdomen and thorax are the same unless i'm missing something. It's the palps and spermatheca that are different. I did read a thread somewhere that the majority in the hobby are the pentaloris, fasciatum are supposedly rare.

I clicked ur post and can easily see the differences. Thx

I may still buy. I would be getting the D pentaloris and a Phlogius crassipes young adult female, both with their bio bubbles for $100 total
