You can solder them. You'll get better ventilation.

Same here works perfectly. I also use painters tape where im drilling. Keeps it from cracking and scratching.
I go one step further.

I make "templates" in Adobe illustrator, print them out and spray glue them to the panels of the amac boxes.

These act like the tape and gives me targets for each hole so they are perfectly placed and spaced. I'm anal like that.

It's also very time consuming, so I've gravitated away from hard plastic amac boxes to softer plastics that I can stab with soldering irons. I still make and use the templates cause anal.

Dang that’s actually brilliant! Ive been using tape and a speed square!
