First, I will start our Thanksgiving list by explaining what recently happened on a cold evening on the way back from the store. The store is nearby and I need the exercise, so I walked to the grocery store. I had about 20 pounds in my pack to prepare for the holiday. It gets dark early and I shouldn't have tried a new short cut that I wasn't familiar with. I got to a place that I had to jump down about body high. I misjudged on landing and sprained my ankle badly. I couldn't walk. It was below freezing and I am not one to call an ambulance. I was only a few blocks from home too. After sitting for a good while, trying to think through possible options while wincing in exquisite pain unbearable to walk, I went to my Father. I explained what I did and asked for His kind mercy. As the centurian asked Jesus to just speak the word to heal his daughter, so I asked. As soon as I did the pain immediately left. I was so blown away that I had trouble believing what He did. I got up and the was scared to put weight back on it. Never the less, I was miraculously healed! When I got home and weighed my pack, I ran up and down the steps to test my ankle further. I am so very grateful. No wonder He's called the Great Physician.
