Added these acrylic hasps on all of my terrestrial old world enclosures. Really like the extra security, even though it is highly unlikely the spider is able to lift the lid since the magnets are very strong. We recently saw a thread where a AB user used magnets to offset the stock magnet strength. Anyone else try this hasp method for extra security?

Read that somewhere bout a spood kicking the top off a T cribs. Never had this issue with a T crib. Did have my Chilobrachys Fimbriatus kick the top off a Fear Not Tarantula starter package cylinder type enclosure. Not once but twice. Stayed put and it was days that she could have just walked out! Got lucky!!! Been a different species probably would have been a lost spider!!

Dude, I have a hard time sometimes just opening the magnetic lids, let alone needing this too. Haha. But good to know
FACTS, the magnets are so strong. I have very small dogs so I can't ever risk one of my OW's getting out.

Gives me peace of mind with the double protection.
