So I was at the pet store today and ran into this Mexican Red Knee and I couldn’t help it. I purchased the T now giving me my 2nd Tarantula. I really liked the color and look to this T and I had to have her/him. Do you think this enclosure is appropriate?

Could you possibly take a picture of the side of the enclosure and possibly the lid.

Enclosure does look oversized.

Very nice addition by the way.

So maybe 3 more inches of substrate and that would be fine? I was kinda worried about that after I got her in of course. Enclosure is 12 inches long and 6 inches wide and 8 inches tall by the way. Is there any guesses how old this T could be? And is it in Juvenile phase?

Yeah ...about half full of substrate. Ts are hard to age...especially slow growing Ts like yours. I've raised lots of these over the years from slings to adults. My guess would be 4-5 years old
