Hi everyone, Yesterday I purchased a sub adult female A.chalcodes from a locally owned pet shop that specialises in reptiles and inverts. The car journey was slightly rough so I assume that my tarantula is stressed due to this and her re-housing. However, as soon as she was coaxed into her new enclosure, she went straight to the side of the acrylic and clung there hiding her carapace with her front legs. I assumed nothing of it and left her alone to settle in and discover her hide. Although, she is still in this exact same position and place the next day and seems very stressed. Should I coax her into her hide to reduce her stress and make her fell more comfortable or should I leave her where she is? Thanks for your help everyone!
