Hi, everyone.Getting a bit desperate here.
I have a brachypelma that doesn’t stop climbing the terrarium.
One year ago I changed her terrarium with a deeper one so she could dig better. But NO.Still climbing.
Temperature and humidity should be fine, so I really don’t understand. Some help would be very appreciated Thank you!!View attachment IMG_9834.jpeg

More substrate. Also, seems like she’s in a very sunny room. Could she be trying to escape the light peeking into the enclosure?

Sadly my house is a terrarium itself, big windows everywhere. But I live in Amsterdam so there are 2 sunny days per year.I’ll try to move her away from the light and add a bit of substrate.Hope it will work, I really want her to feel alright

On the left side of the tank there's that spot where it dips down. I'd put more substrate there, and then dig out a hide/burrow with cork bark as the cover.

I will definitely do it.I will try to give her more options to find darkness. Should I also add another “swimming pool” on the left side?

I don't think another water dish is necessary. Is that sand in the water dish? Or water? I can't tell from the pics.

I had a similar issue, I added a bit more substrate and then added a hide cork bark etc. covered it a bit and then dug a lil starter burrow within. solved my prb for my terrestrial's

You could try putting a background on the back of the enclosure. Doesn't have to be anything fancy. I have black wrapping paper that I have taped to the back of a couple of enclosures. I used a piece of black garbage bag at one point. The theory is it feels less exposed.

This is also a very good idea! Thank you!

My Salmon pink was climbing now and again, even walking upside down on ceiling. now the spider is bigger and heavier and doesn't seem to have enough grip to do it anymore. Tried at least once, got stuck, slowly reversed.
