Never did I ever think that I would keep a Tarantula let alone be devastated by his passing. I've "dealt" with much death in my short 46 years here and I was unprepared for today. It's crazy that ME(of all people) can barely keep the tears away as I type this to no one and Im not even sure why. After all he is JUST a bug/insect, right? I think not. He was a friend to me and I was able to be there for him when nobody else was. I find comfort in that and NOW I understand what this thing is all about...at least for me. I love him and I will miss him more than his simple brain could ever conceptualize. SlP my friend.

I'm so sorry that you've lost your friend but at least you know you gave him a happy end.

I found these in Bear's enclosure. Do you think these could have contributed to his....? They are Caterpillar Hunters (i think).

The superworms were left in the enclosure, pupated, and were living in the enclosure with the tarantula. If the tarantula molted during this time, it would have been extremely vulnerable. They most certainly could have messed with it during this time.
