I keep a damp towl over the tank to keep the humidity up when I take the towl off it drops to like 60 so to keep the humidity up I just keep the towl damp. It's not to my h mold but that's because I'm always cleaning it out so I don't really know what to do

The humidity is diffrent for diffrent spiders. You can't take sumthing from a tropical back round and put in a desert climate..that will kill my spiders..so I will pass on that ipreventdeath thanx anyway

60% is hardly desert conditions and the overwhelming majority of larger Ts can handle desert conditions just fine. A stagnant moldy terrarium will kill your T a lot faster than a slightly lower than average humidity. Granted the decision is up to you, I would just take in the advice and do a little research before dismissing anything.
As the old saying goes, "humidity is relative".

I'd also like to point out that while my A. avics naturally come from the Amazon, they are kept in the same condition as my G. roseas with the exception of a light misting twice a week.
