My Rose T molted for the first time I had him a bit over a week ago, and it seemed to go fine. However, I'm worried about two things: refusal to eat, and cold temperature.
I read to wait until his fangs turned black to feed him, which I did. However, he's been refusing to eat for several days now. His abdomen is getting quite small, so I am very worried. He didn't eat a couple weeks before his molt.
The other thing is, it is starting to get cold up in the NW U.S., and my heating pad I have for his tank isn't as great as I thought. I think it only gets up to about 70 degrees F. He is constantly huddled up against the heating pad on the side of his tank.
He is still a juvenile, and I haven't been able to sex him yet. Hoping for a female, but I call him a he so I don't get my hopes up.
Thanks!
