Pinky toe webbed at bottom of cage

Hello! I got my pink toe about 2 months ago and everything has been going great but It previously had a web in the top corner of its enclosure that it destroyed. It then roamed the enclosure for about 2 days before webbing again. I was curious as to why my T would have made its web at the bottom of the enclosure and not high up?

There is more than one pink toe tarantula species. But I assume you mean an Avic avic?

I have several arboreal species that spend their life close to the substrate. Often, I assume, due to it offering them the best cover, to help them feel safe.

Those thermometers, hygrometers sold for use in enclosures, are about as accurate as Stevie Wonder with a Colt 45.

I recommend removing those rocks from the water dish, it's a breeding ground for harmful bacteria. The water also does not look fresh, pull it and clean it out, and fill with fresh water.

Apologies, I do mean Avic avic. What would you recommend for checking on temperature?

As long as the temperature in the room is 70 degrees F and above, you should be fine.

I will definitely take the rocks out. I appreciate the feedback. I recently changed it but it got dirty quick from her pulling dirt on her web haha

If the room is warm enough for you, in general it is warm enough for the T. My T's used to be kept in a room without heating. I simply kept the door open & my T 's survived typical English winters fine. Although, I did try extra heating for the coldest nights. I could never get it to work for me.
