Afternoon everyone, so my O.B.T Tormund was recently rehoused not long ago and ever since then s/he has stayed in its corner and webbed the he'll out of it, but my problem is where Tormund has set up his home. So what can I do to get him from his spot which I've forgotten to say where lol, which is on top of his enclosure right in the corner of the lid, so how can I move him to the ground or at least off the lid. Here's a picture of how he is right now.

Sorry for bad quality and flash it's the only way I can see it in the picture.

So put some anchors in and that will do or will I have to do more.

should do it. I don't have an OBT but from what i've read they're like any webbing T setup - anchor points, a hide, and a water dish. @Enn49 and others that have OBT's can hopefully give you more in-depth advice.

I'll have to go foraging in the morning for some bits and pieces.

One thing that you need to remember is that OBTs are semi arboreal so you need to give them a set up that allows them to climb. When I first got mine as a juvi, all the care sheets described them as ground dwellers but I just happened across something that contradicted that so I put her in an arboreal ExoTerra terrarium and she has always used the height, She began at the top corner just like yours and gradually webbed a tube all the way down the back corner. At the bottom she built herself a cave of web and substrate where she spends most of her time.

I wouldn't mind if Tormund did that but where he is it means I can't open his enclosure, so if I put some bits and pieces in for anchorage would he come down or will I have to force his down.

Put some stuff in there for that baby, a hide and some plants, stuff it can feel secure with and Web onto as been suggested, I never see mine. It's an enclosure full of webbing lol

If you can put him some wood and a plant in and then gently nudge him down he should go and hide then you can destroy his old web so hopefully he will start again away from the lid.

I have a few Ts that have webbed to the lids and I find with care I can still open them enough for feeding etc.

I can feed him I have a little opening in the lid, so no problems there, it's just trying to clean up after him. But I'll definitely get some bits tomorrow. Thanks everyone as usual I come away knowing abit more then I did before.

Here's an update I've managed to get some bits and here's the end result. What you think and what else can I do to make this little one happy?

Water bowl will be added tomorrow just waiting on bottle cap.

I'd put in a hide, he'll probably web it up but at least he'll have a place to escape to.

Just checked on Tormund and he's back up in his corner, but he does know there's shelter so hopefully he will take good advantage of it all, but will still make sure he doesn't rebuild his home in the corner again.
