New sling won't borrow

It's been almost a month since I got my hamorii sling and he won't borrow,is it normal that it stays out all the time?

Each individual is different my H villosella had plenty of substrate and did not burrow even though they are generally fossorial. Tarantulas have personalities just like us. A T that won’t burrow is a good display animal as well.

I have 2 that are out all the time. They could dig, but they are not!

Totally normal. My Brachypelma slings (albiceps, albopilosum, auratum, boehmei, and klaasi) are out all the time. Your B. hamorii will start bulldozing around if it feels doing so.

Normal. Many of them never burrow.
