Finnaly got enough money to buy a bigger tank for my P. metallica. I have some more wood I am going to add to the enclosure, just waiting for it to dry. Her colours are a bit dull right now since she is close to molting, and after I took these pictures the tank got a quick misting.

Nice! Can't wait until mine has those colours. Couple of questions:

1 - What is going on with the light coloured wood on the left with the stone on?
2 - What are the mesh type things on either side of the enclosure?

1) The light coloured wood is actually a tube, I just closed one end with some slate.

2) Do you mean the moss? The only mesh that can be found on the whole aquarium is on the lid.

Never mind I see what you mean now, the tank is sitting on top of a gecko tank that is why there is mesh on either side.

I feel like I need to give you fair warning. That fine mesh screen used on the lids of exxo terra enclosures is bad news for tarantulas. I've seen quite a few threads about them getting caught on them and losing limbs, even dying. I moved my regalis out of hers into a cheese ball enclosure :) A lot of people still use them, its just something to be aware of.

Thank you for that, I'll keep an eye out for that and hopefully it will not happen.
